I am surprised that the FDA would let anything like that into the marketplace with that little research behind it. For any pharmaceutical drug it takes between 15-20 years from the initial idea to getting the product out on the shelf. On top of that, I am also surprised that the health nuts of this country are not screaming about this. Why focus all of your efforts on trans-fats when this is out there too.

No Kevin I am certainly not an expert in Organic Chemistry, that's why I posted the video. Did you watch it?

With simple research however, I was able to find that at least half of the elements on the periodic table are not in the human body.

But we're missing the point here. I posted the video, and my comments, because Dr Mercola stated the stated the exact same thing about chlorinated organic compounds. Did you watch it? What is an insult and is "feeble minded" is to think that the food industry can get away with the garbage they put in food. It is pure fraud that Splenda was even put on the market, just like many of the other food additives the FDA has approved for human consumption.

If you have a problem with that maybe you should take it up with Dr Mecola at http://www.mercola.com.

Maybe you should watch the video as well.

Please take a course in Organic Chemistry! Take for instance Methnol CH30H causes blindness and other serious healthproblems however take Ethanol CH2OH and you have the same stuff you put in wine, beer, hard liquor, etc. To simply state the chemical stucture is simular is carries no wait and no supportive evidence. Ohh and by the way almost anything found on the periodic table is also found in the human body...i.e chlorine, iron, selenium "toxic in humans but essential to nutrition in small amounts" The clorine on Selenium is most likely removed during cell resperation.

Please research your topic before posting something as "feebleminded" as that your statement has no merit and you should be ashamed you even posted it.
